A little bit of history…
The first Radiodays Europe was held 2010 in Copenhagen. It grew out of the existing collaboration between the different Radiodays in Sweden, Norway and Denmark, where the model with joint private and public radio conference already was in place. In 2012 Radiodays Europe moved to Barcelona and in 2013 to Berlin. In Dublin 2014 and Milan 2015 RDE had over 1300 delegates from 60 countries. In Paris 2016 there were 1500 delegates from 62 countries – a new record.
Most attendees come from Europe – almost all countries in Europe are there. But attendees come from around the world too – Asia, Africa, Australia, North America and South America. The countries with the biggest participation are Germany, France, the Scandinavian countries, UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, USA, Switzerland, Poland, Italy and Russia. Delegates come from commercial radio and public service in almost equal numbers.
